Who We Are

The Manhattan Lyric Opera-POP! is uniquely devoted to presenting staged and concert versions of the classic operas and operettas making them accessible to facilities which otherwise may never have the resources to offer such artistic works in their entirety or part. Our goal is to bring these classic works to life in an elegant, concise concert and staged version so that the audience may enjoy the heart of this great music.

In addition, we have expanded to focus on cabaret themed productions from Tribute variety shows based on Legends and Romance and Comedy. Mr. Romantico & The Diva! is one of our most popular cabaret productions!

What We Do

We specialize in cut down operas with supertitles and projected sets for a user friendly and cost effective approach. The artists performing are some of the finest young professional classical singers in the tri-state area. We hope you will enjoy the performances and that this will entice you to learn more about the bel canto era and style.
